I am Hemant Mehta, an independent Freelance Copywriter & Consultant in Net Marketing from India.

Education
I completed my schooling in New Delhi, India from The Delhi Public School with a degree in Senior Cambridge GCE-'O' Level.
Following this I graduated in BSc.(Honours) in Chemistry from Delhi University, Delhi, India in 1959.
Proceeded to U.K. to complete a course in Plastics Technology.

Work Experience

• Began my career with the erstwhile Bakelite Ltd., UK in their R&D division, followed by a transfer to their Indian counterpart - HYLAM Ltd., Hyderabad, India in their Technical Service and Product Development Department.

• Returned to Europe in 1965 and joined DuPont de Nemours (Nederland) B.V., Dordrecht, Holland in their "DELRIN" Acetal Resin division gaining experience in manufacturing, quality control, process engineering etc.

• In 1969 joined Shell Research B.V., Delft/Amsterdam in their Applications Development Department to develop new applications of commodity plastics. This tenure lasted till mid 1978.

• Returned to India in 1978 to join the pioneering Petrochemical Public Sector firm of IPCL in Baroda, India. Till 1994 worked on diverse fields of Plastics and Marketing, Market Research, Communications, Applications Development, and several projects to set up industries and educational institutions in India.

• Since 1994 started my own business in Plastics Consulting and Net Communications.

The former is engaged in servicing the individuals and industries for all their requirements of copywriting, articles, editing, presentations and general content management, etc.

The latter is more a creative organization that assists both corporate and individual (especially students etc) for their needs of communications and internet marketing.
